摘要
离身观念曾主导着不同领域学者对传播与身体关系的研究,但他们彼此之间的冲突和张力为具身性进入传播与身体研究提供了理论空间。研究发现,具身性为反思既有的两种传播观念以及关照新传媒技术实践提供了难得的逻辑切入点。首先,批判性地揭示传播传递观所隐含的刺激—反应这一实证主义逻辑,凸显身体及其知觉类型在传播效果研究中的系统性缺席;其次,从符号与现实关系的角度检视传播仪式观的作用机制,尝试以具身视角填补由这一作用机制所造成的学理困境;再次,以具身观念反观新传媒技术及其实践,将虚拟现实理解为具身性的传播实践,借此为彻底离身的技术神话去魅。
The concept of disembodiment used to dominate researches on relations between communication and body among scholars in different fields, but their conflicts and tensions provide a theoretical space for embodiment to access communication and physical researches. The study finds that the embodiment offers a rare logic entry point to reflect on the two existing communication concepts and research technological practices of the new media. First, it critically reveals the logical positivism of stimulus-reaction implied in the concept of communication and transmission, highlighting the systematic absence of the body and its perception types in the research of communication effects. Second, from the perspective of the relationship between the symbol and reality, the paper examines the functional mechanism of the ritual communication concept and tries to fill the academic gap caused by this mechanism on the basis of embodiment. Third, the paper studies the new media technology and its practices based on the concept of embodiment, views the virtual reality as the communication practice of embodiment, thus disenchanting the technological myth completely disembodied.
