摘要
1920年代,几乎每位维庸的中国译介者都会强调诗人的个性。1929年《震旦大学院杂志》发表的维庸与李白的对比文章,却刻意突出诗人面对掌权者时的顺从。维庸的这一形象出之有因。1920年起《震旦大学院杂志》发表的绝大部分文章,特别是用法文发表的中法文学作品对比研究、王阳明和曾国藩书信的法文译本、学生致校长的法文书信等内容,均强调要尊崇天理或曰先王之道。这一意识形态促生了将政治人物塑造成英雄的倾向,也决定了该杂志将包括维庸、李白在内的知识分子塑造成政治人物追随者的必然性。巴黎耶稣会士档案馆关于震旦大学的档案表明,《震旦大学院杂志》对知识分子与政治威权之理想关系的塑造,可以被视为震旦校方制定的学生行为准则的隐喻。这一准则的重要内容之一是远离革命与叛逆,尊崇道德与既定威权。
In the 1920s,almost every Chinese critic who mentioned Fran?ois Villon highlighted the individuality of the poet. However,an article comparing Fran?ois and Li Bai published in the Magazine of Aurore University underlines the obdience of the French poet towards powerful political men. Our research points out that this image reflects the very different ideology of the Magazine of Aurore University from the pursuit of democracy and liberty,which marked the ideology of the generation of May 4th 1919. The Magazine of Aurore University appeared after 1920 tends to advocate exclusively the respect towards the unique heavenly principle,or in other words,the way carved out by emperors in ancient times. Articles published in French in the Magazine,such as comparison between Chinese and French literature,translation in French of Wang Yangming's and Zeng Guofan's letters,letters sent by students to university presidents,reflect all the mentionned ideology of the Magazine. The idolization of ancient emperors makes students tend to heroize all famous political men,which explains the construction of the image of Fran?ois Villon as a servant of political men. The archives of Aurore University conserved in Jesuits Archives of Paris show that the ideal relationship between intellectuals and political men constructed by the Magazine of Aurore University can be considered as a kind of metaphor for one of the rules conceived by the University,which tell students to stay away from political revolution or any kind of revolt,to respect traditional moral and established authorities.

(1)《震旦大学院杂志》是震旦大学的官方刊物,于1909年创刊。它通常刊登由震旦大学学生撰写或翻译的中文或法文文章。该杂志名称曾多次改变。1909至1914年,杂志前10期中文名为《震旦学院》,法文名为Universitél'Aurore。第11至19期杂志法文名不变,中文名则多次改变:1914年第11期杂志名为《震旦大学院杂志》;1915至1916年出版的第12、13期杂志名为《震旦大学院课选》;1917至1919年出版的第14至19期杂志再次被命名为《震旦大学院杂志》。1919至1920学年,杂志从第1期开始重新编号。1920至1927年出版的第1至12期杂志中文名为《震旦大学院文学法政杂志》,而这一阶段杂志的法文名则多次改变:第1期杂志法文名为Universitéde Changhai-Bulletin de littérature et de droit,第2至12期杂志法文名为Universitéde Changhai(L'Aurore)-Bulletin de littérature et de droit。1927至1929年出版的第13至17期杂志中文名为《震旦大学院杂志》,法文名为Bulletin de l'universitél'Aurore。从上海徐家汇藏书楼所藏《震旦大学院杂志》来看,从1913年第19期起,该杂志每期法文部分有法文封面,中文部分有中文封面,封面上标有期号等出版信息。但我们发现,同一期中文封面的出版信息有时与法文封面不相匹配,有时与相应中文部分每页题头上标注的出版信息不匹配。本文引用中文文章时,使用相应的中文杂志名;引用法文文章时,则使用相应的法文杂志名。但为统一起见,出版期号一律以法文封面为准。
(1)本研究以上海图书馆“晚清期刊、民国时期期刊全文数据库”中所藏《震旦大学院杂志》为研究对象。该数据库所藏《震旦大学院杂志》最早自1916年起,1929年则是Fran9ois Villon与李白的对比文章发表的时间。文章将两位诗人塑造成与当时政权紧密合作的文学家,正是这一形象引起笔者对《震旦大学院杂志》的关注。

(1)据施蛰存回忆,他曾于1925年秋至1927年春在震旦大学学习,其间与戴望舒同学。在一篇纪念戴望舒的文章中,施蛰存谈起震旦大学法国文学教育中的审查问题:“望舒在震旦大学时,还译过一些法国象征派的诗。这些诗,法国神父是禁止学生阅读的。一切文学作品,越是被禁止的,青年人就越是要千方百计去找来看。望舒在神父的课堂里读拉马丁、缪塞,在枕头底下却埋藏着魏尔伦和波特莱尔。他终于抛开了浪漫派,倾向了象征派”(1983:2)。关于施蛰存在震旦的求学经历,见施蛰存:“震旦二年”,《新文学史料》4(1984):52-55。
