摘要
Urban river contamination has become a worldwide issue. In this study, we analyzed the spatial and temporal variations of microbial enzyme activities and linked it to geochemical variables of an ecological restored urban river in Tai Lake basin, China. Samples were taken from five sections of Beishi river monthly throughout a year, and microbial enzyme activities(dehydrogenase, total enzyme, phosphatase, urease, proteinase) and water geochemical variables(COD, DO, NH+4-N, NO-3-N, TN, TP, Chla, temperature and pH)were analyzed simultaneously. One-year monitoring indicated that water quality changed seasonally, and NH+4-N, TN were major pollutants. Significant positive correlation was observed between Shannon-weaver diversity index of microbial five enzyme activities(H) and comprehensive pollution index of water quality(P)(P < 0.01), indicating potential stimulation effect of contaminants in overall microbial activities in urban river.Based on the canonical correspondence analysis of microbial enzyme activities and water geochemical variables, nitrogen(TN, NH+4-N and NO-3-N), temperature and DO were major factors that influencing microbial enzymatic activities. The response of microbial enzyme activities seemed to be more sensitive to water quality than microbial community structures in such ecological restored urban river.
